Spencer looking for new Men's 1st X1 coach

Spencer Men’s Hockey Club is looking for a 1st XI Coach to lead the club into the National League from the Southern Premiership.

After several competitive seasons at the top of the Southern Premiership this post holds a great opportunity for an ambitious coach to become part of South West London's premier hockey club and drive the 1st team forward into the National Conference League (East).

Spencer has over a 100 years of hockey history and is a very proud and sociable hockey club.The club is well situated, with pitch and clubhouse on-site and there are 13 men's teams. We want to build upon this strong foundation, and believe the 1st XI should be a force on the National Hockey scene. We welcome all applicants and enquiries.


Required for the role:

Level 2 or above hockey coaching qualification (or coach/player with international experience). Able to lead training at least once, possibly twice per week (7:30-9:30pm Tuesdays and ad hoc 7:30-8:30 Thursdays). Able to coach all league/cup fixtures as required on weekends. Be a great communicator with the ability to create a great team spirit within the men’s performance squad.

Location:Earlsfield, South West London

Salary: negotiable on experience
